Bloody Mary Steak


When I told Chicken Legs about the marinade for this steak he was skeptical. He mentioned to the butcher what I was doing, he was also skeptical. Well, shame on both of them! This was AWESOME!

Chicken Legs said this was the best skirt steak marinade I've made. Oh yes! I agree, and I don't even drink Bloody Mary's. I made quesadillas with the leftover steak and it was just as delicious. I can't stop thinking about how great this steak was. I am already planning on making it again this weekend.




Bloody Mary Steak
serves 4
(Printable Recipe)

  • 2 lb steak, skirt steak, flank steak
  • 1 cup Bloody Mary mix
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic

Combine all ingredients and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours. Grill or pan sear until desired doneness.

*We grill skirt steak about 8-10 minutes to medium-rare*
