Can You Freeze Cajun Dirty Rice Casserole?
This Cajun Dirty Rice Casserole is a great make-ahead recipe. The rice takes a while to cook, so I like to make this the day before we eat it. I assemble the casserole ahead of time and refrigerate or freeze for later.I usually freeze the casserole unbaked, but you can freeze the baked casserole also. To bake the casserole after freezing, thaw completely and bake as directed below. To reheat the frozen casserole, thaw completely, cover with foil and bake at 350ºF for 30 to 40 minutes, until heated through.
