Easy French Dip Sandwiches
I have a serious weakness for a good French Dip Sandwich, and these French Dip Biscuits are no different. Warm roast beef and cheese sandwiches dunked in au jus. YUM! These French Dip Biscuits are great for tailgating and a quick lunch or dinner! There are only a few simple ingredients and they taste great! We ate these for lunch last week and LOVED them! We have them on the menu again this weekend for all of the NFL and college football games. Serve the biscuits with some chips or fries. How to Make French Dip Biscuits with Sandwich Meat
As I said, these French Dip Biscuits are super easy to make. There are only 4 ingredients! Start with splitting some refrigerated biscuits. Spread the inside of the biscuits with some horseradish sauce and then stuff with deli roast beef and cheese. Pop the biscuits in the oven. While the biscuits are baking, make the au jus. That's it!I used sliced Boars Head London Broil for the roast beef. I get the deli to slice it very, very thin for these French Dip Biscuits. If you had roast beef for the holidays, feel free to use any leftover roast in these biscuits. YUM! Leftovers never tasted so good!
I used provolone cheese in these French Dip Biscuits. Feel free to swap the provolone for your favorite cheese. I like pepper jack, Monterey jack, cheddar, and white American cheese. Get creative!

ingredients:
- 1 (16.3-oz) can refrigerated biscuits (8-count)
- 1 lb thinly sliced deli roast beef
- 2 Tbsp creamy horseradish sauce, or to taste
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 1 (1-oz) packet Au Jus Gravy mix
instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate each biscuit into two layers. Spread each layer with horseradish sauce. Top half of the biscuit layers with provolone cheese slice and roast beef. Top meat and cheese with remaining biscuit layers and pinch edges to seal. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
- While biscuits are baking, prepare Au Jus Gravy mix according to package directions.
NOTES:
Can use your favorite cheese in place of provolone - pepper jack, cheddar, or white cheddar would all be good.
I used a can of Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Layer biscuits in this recipe.
Brush baked biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley, if desired.
