As I said, these Italian Green Beans are super easy to make. I had them ready to bake before the oven preheated! Simply trim some fresh green beans and place in a baking dish. Top the green beans with diced tomatoes, garlic salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs. Pop in the oven and it is ready to eat in under 30 minutes. ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 (14.5-oz) can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano, drained
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp bread crumbs
instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375ºF. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Line bottom of the baking dish with green beans. Top with drained tomatoes.
- Sprinkle tomatoes with garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and pepper.
- Combine grated Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Sprinkle over green beans.
- Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
NOTES:
Can assemble in advance and refrigerate overnight until ready to bake.
