Blueberries are my all-time favorite fruit, so it is no surprise that I LOVE this Lemon Blueberry Dump Cake! Top it with some vanilla ice cream and I am a happy camper! YUM!

This Lemon Blueberry Dump Cake is super simple to make. It only has a few ingredients and it tastes GREAT!!! Blueberries, sugar, lemon zest, lemon cake mix and butter. Just dump everything in the pan and throw it in the oven. No mixing, no extra dirty dishes, no spoons, just one pan. Gotta love easy clean up.

Serve this Lemon Blueberry Dump Cake at your next cookout or potluck. The cake tastes great hot out of the oven or cooled to room temperature. As I said, we like this with a big ol' scoop of vanilla ice cream. SO good!

Just a note about the cake mix. DO NOT make the cake batter. You are using the cake mix dry.

ingredients:


  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, cubed

instructions:


  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. Pour blueberries into pan, sprinkle with sugar and lemon zest. 
  3. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over blueberries. 
  4. Cover cake mix with butter pieces.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
