How To Make Pineapple Upside Down Dump Cake

This Pineapple Upside Down Dump Cake is super easy to make. Just dump the pineapple and cherries in the bottom of the cake pan. Top with some brown sugar and cake mix. Finally, top with butter and bake. No mixing, no extra dirty dishes, no spoons, just one pan. I had this ready to bake before my oven preheated! Woohoo!

Just a note about the cake mix. Do not make the cake. You are going to use the dry cake mix straight out of the box.

ingredients:

• 2 (20-oz) cans diced pineapple, drained
• 1 (10-oz) jar cherries, drained
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 3/4 cup butter, sliced

instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
2. Pour drained pineapple and cherries into the pan, sprinkle with brown sugar.
3. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pineapple.
4. Cover cake mix with butter pieces.
5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
