I love baked beans. They are my go-to side dish when we eat at BBQ joints. These Slow Cooker Cowboy Beans are some of the BEST baked beans EVER!!! They have just the right amount of sweetness and are loaded with bacon and beef. I could make a meal out of them!
I cooked these Slow Cooker Cowboy Beans low and slow all day. If you are in a hurry, you can cook them on HIGH for a few hours and they will be good to go. To save time on the day I made these beans, I cooked the bacon and beef the day before. It seriously took all of my self-control to not eat the bacon and save it for the Cowboy Beans. Fluffy & I might have snuck a taste of one piece. Don't tell the other cats!

ingredients:
- 1-1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 lb bacon
- 2 Tbsp dried minced onion flakes
- 2 (55-oz) cans baked beans (Bush's)
- 1-1/4 cups ketchup
- 3 Tbsp mustard
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
instructions:
- Cook ground beef in a large skillet until no longer pink. Drain.
- Cook bacon until crispy. Drain and chop.
- Add cooked beef and bacon to a 6-qt slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients. Stir.
- Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.
