This Three Bean Salad is the perfect quick side dish for your 4th of July celebration next week. This salad is super easy to make and it tastes fantastic! You can even make this a few days in advance. I love easy make ahead holiday recipes!!
I used a mixture of canned green beans, yellow wax beans and light red kidney beans in this Three Bean Salad. If you don't like one of those beans, feel free to swap it out with your favorite canned bean. I sometimes use garbanzo beans in this salad. For the onion in this recipe, I used a sweet Vidalia onion. It goes perfectly in this salad!! Sweet & tangy in every bite.
This Three Bean Salad needs to be made at least a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve. I made a batch last weekend, and we ate it with lunch during the week. We loved it! It is really yummy. This is definitely going on the menu for our 4th of July cookout.
